Who is the guy in so many Detroit commercials?

If you've ever watched TV late at night in the Metro Detroit area, you
probably know who I mean: the African-American man in so many local
commercials, from fish house ads (7 Mile Shrimp, I think?) to
appliance stores ("if you're from the hood, your credit's good"). (He
was also "King of Bling" in one, but I can't recall what
store/business the commercial was for.)

Any idea who this guy is?
